Terms of Access
This course is open not only to students in Life Sciences but also in Medicine, Pharmacy, and Odontology from the 2nd year of their main course. Students in Veterinary Medicine as well as the midwifery schools can enroll in the 1st year of school.
Since 2009, students in the 4th year of the “Idheo” Osteopathy School of Nantes can submit a dossier of requests for validation prior to enrollment in the M1 BS PSM. This training program is also open to interns in Medicine, Pharmacy, doctorate holders in Medicine, Pharmacy, Odontology, Veterinary Medicine, and to holders of a Diploma of Midwife.
Foreign students with a doctorate in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine or holding a Midwifery diploma can register for the 1st year the Master’s degree after receiving a favorable opinion from the Evaluation Committee of the Master 1.
General objectives
This course is a first step into the world of biomedical research with a program including an introduction to the experimental approach and modules in information and communication.
This year 1 of Health/Biology Master degree gives access to Masters 2 as for example in Nantes the following courses:
- Biology, Biotechnology and Therapeutic Research (BBRT)
- Clinical Research (RC)
- Genetics, Genomics and Systems Biology (GGBS)
- From animal to human: “analysis, management and control of health and nutritional risks” (Manimal)
- Signals and images in biology and medicine (SIBM)
- Modeling in clinical pharmacology and epidemiology (MPCE)
Objectives related to Bioregate topics
Year 1 of the Health/Biology Master degree prepares for year 2 Biology Health Master and in particular M2 BBRT “Biology, Biotechnology and Therapeutic Research” course and RC “Clinical Research” course which are related to Bioregate thematic fields.
